I was walking on campus on my lunch break enjoying the afternoon break when I noticed some carvings in the wall that were some things I show my students like electromagnetics waves, refraction, and the other picture I have posted about diffraction can be explained by the carving of the over lapping waves
I love cats and I love stumbling across science related art. Schrodinger’s cat is about quantum states and superposition, illustrated by cat being in a death machine, so that there is a state where the cat can be both alive and dead at the same time :3 just like in the carving
I wasn’t sure what the diagram below the cat was when I took this picture. But this weekend I found out it was related to my research. It is a Feynman diagram related to the scattering of electrons or particles, I was so giddy to come across while researching for my poster :3
These carvings can be found outside the Brockman Hall for physics

This is awesome! I tell my students to represent the concept in picture form. This is a good example in physics that we can show them as an example and to do some online research.
